Tour Itinerary:
Your tour begins at 5:30 AM, when your private driver picks you up from your hotel or preferred location in Delhi, Gurgaon, or Noida. Travel comfortably in a private air-conditioned car to Agra via the Yamuna Expressway. The journey takes around 3 to 4 hours, with the early departure helping you avoid heavy Delhi traffic and reach Agra before the Taj Mahal gets busy.
Upon reaching Agra, your first stop is the magnificent Taj Mahal, one of the world’s most celebrated monuments and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, it is admired for its white marble, intricate inlay work, elegant gardens, and perfect symmetry.
Take your time to explore the monument with your private guide. You’ll have around 2 hours at the Taj Mahal, allowing you to appreciate its architecture, hear the stories behind its construction, and discover details that are easy to miss, including the delicate marble inlay, clever architectural design, and intricate calligraphy.

After visiting Agra Fort, enjoy a lunch break at a local restaurant. Agra is famous for its Mughlai cuisine, giving you a chance to try some of the city’s popular local dishes. Take some time to relax and recharge before continuing your journey.
After lunch, you can visit Itmad-ud-Daulah, popularly known as the Baby Taj. Built by Empress Nur Jahan for her father, Mirza Ghiyas Beg, this elegant riverside tomb is known for its delicate marble lattice screens, intricate inlay work, and beautiful craftsmanship. Often considered a forerunner to the Taj Mahal, it offers a closer look at the evolution of Mughal architecture. This optional stop is ideal if you want to explore more of Agra beyond its two famous monuments before returning to Delhi.
If time permits, explore Agra’s lively local markets, known for marble inlay crafts, handicrafts, textiles, and leather goods. You can also visit a local marble workshop to see skilled artisans creating detailed inlay designs inspired by the craftsmanship of the Taj Mahal. It’s a great opportunity to experience Agra’s traditional artistry and pick up a memorable souvenir before heading back to Delhi.
After exploring Agra, begin your comfortable drive back to Delhi via the Yamuna Expressway.
