Tour Itinerary:
Your day begins with an early pickup from your hotel in Agra around 7:00 AM. Meet your driver and travel comfortably to the Taj Mahal, your first sightseeing stop. Spend around 2 to 3 hours exploring the monument, its gardens, and the surrounding complex before continuing your journey to Mathura.
After exploring the Taj Mahal, continue your journey to Mathura, around 60 km from Agra. The drive takes roughly an hour, depending on traffic, and offers glimpses of the countryside and local life along the way.
Upon arriving in Mathura, visit the revered Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple, traditionally regarded as the birthplace of Lord Krishna. Explore the temple complex and its sacred surroundings while experiencing the devotional atmosphere of this important pilgrimage site. Allow around 45 minutes for the visit, with time for prayer and quiet reflection.
After visiting the temple, take a peaceful walk along the Yamuna River and experience one of Mathura’s most culturally significant settings. Enjoy the riverside views, observe local life, and learn about the river’s connection with the traditions and stories of Lord Krishna. It’s also a lovely opportunity to capture a few photographs.
Continue to the ISKCON Temple, a peaceful temple dedicated to Lord Krishna and Radharani. Take around 30 minutes to explore the temple, admire its architecture, and experience the devotional atmosphere. If available, you can also receive prasadam as part of the visit.
After exploring Mathura, continue to Vrindavan, located about 15 km away. The drive takes around 30 minutes, depending on traffic, and brings you to one of the region’s most important pilgrimage towns, closely associated with the childhood stories and traditions of Lord Krishna.
Begin your Vrindavan visit at the Banke Bihari Temple, one of the town’s most revered Krishna temples. Spend around 45 minutes experiencing its devotional atmosphere and observing the temple traditions.
Continue to Prem Mandir, known for its detailed marble carvings and beautiful temple grounds dedicated to Radha and Krishna. Allow about 1 hour to explore the complex, admire the architecture, and enjoy its peaceful surroundings. If visiting in the evening, the illuminated temple offers an especially beautiful setting.
After exploring Vrindavan, begin your journey back to Agra. The drive usually takes around 2 to 3 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. If you wish, you can stop for dinner along the way and enjoy some local North Indian cuisine.
Arrive in Agra in the late evening, where your driver will drop you off at your hotel or preferred location, marking the end of your day trip.
