The route passes through Bharatpur and Dausa on the National Highway and is a comfortable, well-maintained road. We depart early from Agra — typically between 6:30 AM and 7:00 AM — so you arrive in Jaipur by mid-morning with a full day of sightseeing ahead. The return journey in the evening takes the same amount of time and you are back at your Agra hotel by around 9 PM to 10 PM.

Jaigarh Fort sits directly above Amber and was the military fort — it houses the Jaivana cannon, the largest wheeled cannon ever built, which was never actually fired in battle. Can I visit Abhaneri Stepwell on a Jaipur day trip from Agra?
Yes — Abhaneri is located roughly 95 kilometres from Agra on the road to Jaipur and makes an excellent stop on the way. Adding Abhaneri adds approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to the day.
