Your journey begins with pickup from your hotel, airport or another agreed location in Delhi. Travel by road towards Ramnagar, the main gateway town for Jim Corbett National Park.
The drive generally takes around five to six hours, although traffic, your pickup location and road conditions can affect the journey. On arrival, transfer to your accommodation if it has been booked as part of your package.
Spend the rest of the day settling in and enjoying the natural surroundings. Depending on your accommodation’s location and available time, you may be able to relax in the garden or enjoy the nearby countryside.
Use the evening to prepare for the next day’s safari. Confirm your reporting time, safari zone and identification requirements with your tour operator.

Start the day with a planned jeep safari if your permit and safari slot have been confirmed. The drive takes you through an authorised area of the Corbett landscape, where you can observe the forest and look for wildlife in its natural habitat.
Depending on the zone and conditions, you may encounter deer, elephants, langurs, birds and other wildlife. Bengal tigers also inhabit the wider Corbett landscape, but sightings are unpredictable and never guaranteed.
After the safari, return to your accommodation for breakfast or rest, according to your arrangements.
The remaining time can be spent relaxing or enjoying a suitable local nature activity, if available. Any guided walk or outdoor activity should take place only in an authorised area and according to local rules.
